Confital Beach, located to the southwest of La Isleta Peninsula, is a natural extension of Las Canteras Beach. This unique beach stretches for two kilometers, although the coastline is much longer. Confital is famous for its rocky platforms covered with coarse sand at the end. Recently, greening works and access improvements have been carried out here, including the installation of a wooden walkway and the creation of rest areas.

Until recently, there was a small shanty town at the foot of the beach, which was demolished, returning the lands of El Confital to public ownership. This opened the way for conservation and maintenance works, causing considerable controversy among environmental movements and city residents regarding the legality of these actions.

Today, Confital Beach is equipped with the best pedestrian access, making it an ideal place for relaxation and enjoying nature. It has become popular among tourists and locals looking for solitude and beauty against the backdrop of the stirring sea.
