Description
Mirador de La Orilla, located in Tunta, Gran Canaria, is an observation deck offering panoramic views of the southern part of the island. From this point you can see vast forests, deep gorges and spectacular mountain landscapes, including the famous Pico de las Nieves peak.
The Mirador de La Orilla site is about 1,200 metres above sea level. The site is popular with tourists and locals due to its easy access and the opportunity to enjoy the unique natural beauty that characterises the interior of Gran Canaria. The observation deck is equipped for short-term relaxation, offering visitors benches and sunshades.
The Mirador de La Orilla is also the starting point for a number of hiking trails through the island's nature reserves.
